With my daughter being with the local police department, I took her lead after one consultation when she asked "Are there any firearms in the house we need to know about?" Now I ask this question at every consult. Simply because if there is a break in during our pet sit, we need to be aware for our own safety & to be able to inform police as well for their safety/report.
