August 29th is a "unlucky" day for New Orleans. Looks like Isaac will hit seven years to the day after Katrina. I saw a cartoon in the Baton Rouge paper this morning. It showed two carpenters on a roof in N. O. One said, "There ! We're finished rebuilding what Katrina destroyed!" In the background one could see the storm clouds of Isaac heading towards them.

Maybe Roger, Cattail and the Amish will have to return.

To my fellow forum readers along the path of Isaac, I hope you stay high and dry. I'm just hoping it won't be like Gustav in 2008.

In B. R. we had rain and wind but not much destruction, just like it was during Katrina. Apparently, $14 billion improvements helped New Orleans but the areas outside the flood protection zone were devastated.

I heard on one news cast that a lot of the protection for N.O. caused problems for other areas. Maybe a bit of relocation might be in the offing.
