GOOD! That means I did a good job of blending it in.

If you really want to look for a section that was changed, try the trip home from Bowman's Bluff - the portion about the kitten wasn't in the original (I and my editor had a 'rather warm' discussion about it, but it was 'temporarily' deleted - it was to be reinstated in another section, only it got mislaid since the other section also got deleted.)

G'day,

I remember reading, in the original, that he got given a kitten, but I don't remember being told how it got carried, I just assumed he'd have done what I've done with kittens in cold climates, left the top of my coat open a little and stuck the damn thing in the shirt pocket, that way it has air and can poke it's head out to see where it's going if it wants to. Only works with very young kittens and not those that are nearly fully grown.

However, I still have the Chap 14 zip, so I may unzip it again and reread that to compare - when I've got time.
