The height of Niagara Falls depends on where you measure it. I think "official" is about 161 feet. The only whitewater boater I know of to try to run Niagara didn't survive the experience. I've seen Ozone Falls, though long ago, in the later 1970s.

That I know of, the height record of someone kayaking off the lip of a waterfall is at Palouse Falls in Southeastern Washington State, which is on the order of 186 feet high (some claim almost 200 feet). Google "palouse falls kayak" for a choice of several videos to watch. At least a couple kayakers have run it now, first done in April 2009. He broke his kayak paddle on impact and sprained a wrist.
