In reply to: Boyd Percy 's message, "Re: Stories" on 20:54:44 02/17/13 Sun

There have been occasional stories that I've been less excited about than others while they were in progress, but after they were completed, I went back and read them through from the beginning in one or two sittings, and they seemed much better. You might like to try that.

Although I agree about Snowplow Extra (I've also tried it several times and given up), I'd never seen the need to point that out in public, given Wes' excellent writing and that it's probably just my personal taste, not to mention the fact that he publishes it for free.

I thought I was the only one who had trouble with "Snowplow Extra", but I did finally finish it. That's the only one I struggled with tho.

I guess my being a railfan made "Snowplow Extra" come to life for me, being able to follow the bits of the story.

I enjoyed "Snowplow Extra" from the viewpoint of a Firefighter. I also happen to know a bit about railroads form working in transportation and shipping for years, so I was on familiar ground.
