 I heard that the movie opened a bit under the figure they expected. It was said it would open with about $ 7 mio. Of course no one expected it to open with big numbers, I also think it was made with a relatively small budget.

I am surprised that they opened it in the crowded summer where they release the big blockbusters and it could easily get overlooked. I thought this is more the type of movie for a fall release, since they hope to get award-recognition.
We also should add that AJ never was a big boxoffice star, the only big hits were the first Tomb Raider movie and the Smith movie.

I have not read any reviews, but on yahoo they said the average rating for the film is B, so it should be pretty good. I also read that Jolie is terrific in it, and it could turn into Oscar-recognition for her.
