I am a firm believer that the heritage of the child gives them the strong roots gives them an advantage to having a solid base throughout their life. There are characteristics that come with different cultures that people who are not of that culture could ever possibly understand. Take my heritage for example, I am lebanese and loyality is something that is in my blood. It is amazing to me how many people of different culture have no clue about what loyality is.I had a guy tell me once, i understand because I had a friend explain what it means. It is true, it means something different to us than what it means to most people. I am sure with your Russian heritage there are specific beliefs that someone of a different culture could never understand. From observing people who adopt children of different cultures there always comes a time when they can't relate to what their children are feeling and that is because they are of a different culture. It saddens me and to say there is something wrong with the child just because they don't understand it hurts the child more than anyone else. They feel as though they are lacking because their adoptive parents have no understanding of them. I have seen it too many times and at some point that child will long to find that connection with the people who do understand it.

A perfect example of a tragedy is Madonna taking that little boy she adopted away from his father. She believes she can give him a better life than what he would have with his own blood. One day that child will resent her for taking him away from his parent. It is so wrong in my opinion and shame on her for taking such advantage of the poor.I am sorry, same goes for Jolie, taking Zahara away from her roots when she knew her grandparents were still alive. If she really was interested in what was best for that child, she could of supported them financially to raise her. That would be in the best interests of the child.

It saddens me so much that they feel these children can be bought and taken away from their heritage and roots to live a uprooted life being exploited by the media every step of the way. It doesn't solve anything and then people wonder why the world shakes as it does.We have lost sight of what is truly valuable in life and these ego maniac celebrities are leading the pack.
