Hmm, interesting, i thought they were friends? That's a pretty bold statement to make "That was a ridiculous movie". Coincidentally, i just saw Valkyrie last night and i didnt find anything all that ridiculous about it. But it was a completely different genre of a movie, it's comparing apples to oranges. Valkyrie was a drama, this is a bit of a dark-humor romp. I really hope Brad was misquoted in this interview, to say that this movie is a be-all end-all for WWII/Nazi movies? Um, earth to Brad, it can never compare to classics like Schindler's list and Life is Beautiful. And honestly, i dont see why it should even be compared, without having seen it, i can already see that it's a completely different type of movie, the only thing all these movies have in common is the time period. That's like comparing all movies that take place in New York in the 70's, or something :) (Saturday Night Fever vs. Summer of Sam, for example LOL) I dont doubt it's a great Tarantino-genre movie but that's really what it is, this is uncharacteristic of Brad to get this carried away and diss another actor's work...

Am seeing it tomorrow night, was going to see it tonight but wanted to space out my Nazi movies, plus bf has a Yankee/Red Sox game he wants to watch so we'll be seeing it tomorrow night. will let you know what i think as soon as i see it, i take it you're not seeing it until it comes out on DVD, Gina, or will you give it a shot?

Myst
