Ruth, Ruth. You say Astro bought TVB over? Have you the slightest idea the magnitude of your accusations? Do you think, a principled man such as Sir Run Run Shaw, would stand for all the corruption and abuse you speak of, let alone the vast amount of funds that ASTRO has to fork out? Don't be stupid!
Rachel was poorly dressed and did all the wrong things? I am very surprised, for I certainly thought that she and all the contestant were very very well dressed, and the performance was rather good. When she was crowned she was left alone? Were you watching the correct channel? or if you were among the audience ( which is highly improbable), did you enter the wrong studio?
You say there was no judging on the final night. You say it was predetermined. Very well. Show me a thread of irrebuttable evidence of what you allege and i shall purchase the front page of every major newspaper in Malaysia to advertise the truth of your allegations. You after all, come from Malaysia, do you not?
You claim to be a national director. That begs the question, of what? and you know. Of course you do, who doesn't? but, know what? That it is for commercial value as opposed to merits? As a matter of fact, these pageants have always been for its commercial value. Why else would the organisers hold it every year if it does not bring them profit? My my, You are rather stupid aren't you?
The judging is separate from it being an exercise in money making. That is the function of those selected as judges. But i must say you must not have been very important to be included in the panel of judges. Then you would have had the chance to express your dissatisfaction would it not?
You say that there is no goodwill between the winner and the rest of the contestants. Are you in any way closely or even mildly associated with any of the contestants that they feel the liberty to confide in you their grievances and what you would term 'stealing answers'? Were you even in the territory of Hong Kong or any of the participating countries to eavesdrop on the conversations that took place in the studio and backstage? Given the state of todays technology, you might have very advanced gadgets to prove your allegations. Come now, don't be shy, show me. Like i said, prove it, and i will reciprocate and vindicate your position. The fact that you chose not to defend yourself in the wake of the criticisms leveled at you proves one thing, that you were experiencing a verbal diarrhea.
You say the audience were left in total shock and disbelief. If i remember correctly, at no time after Rachel was crowned did the camera record a scene, if any, of the audience. Even then, given the benefit of the doubt, you would be able to see the expressions on their faces from a 10 second recording 50 feet away now couln't you? My my, would you take an offer to assist the military in reconnaissance activities?
Of course TVB is interested in improving the standard of the MCIP in forthcoming years. Perhaps you would like to join and help improve it. or would you rather be contented to withdraw into your pathetic claustrophobic shell? To borrow your words, "if YOU are worthy", well then, prove it to all that you are what you speak of.
Don't allow your mouth to write cheques that your ass can't cash!
