For example the gals representing Australia in the MCI 2003 were all from Taiwan (Taipei) talk about connections. The funiest thing is that the Miss Chinese Quest for Brisbane, Sudney and Melbourne were sponsored by the Taiwanese Associations.(what a coincidence)So u are so right about how money and politics play a big part in the "Pageants" these days. There were so many prettier Chinese girls in Australia than the ones represented in the MCI 2003. They could even speck Chinese and the one from Melbourne looked like a man whore drag queen.
