I was wondering if anyone saw the Miss Chinese International Pageant 2000? I didn't see it but I'm very curious to know how Miss Taiwan did that year. I recall her in Miss Universe 1999 and she was very beautiful and she looks like one of the HK stars. I think she had a beautiful body and a beautiful face, why didn't she even make top 3? Is it because she didn't speak cantonese? Who won that year? Was it HK?

[> Subject: I was not impressed with the 2000 show: it was dry throughout, not too interesting. Sonija Kwok from HK won, when the first RU was LA was so much more beautiful. Second runner-up from Vancouver was quite attractive as well, prettier than Sonija, but L.A. ruled the stage. Yes, Miss Taipei was Wang Wan-Fei, who was at Miss Universe '99 and was 4th in Miss Asia Pacific '99 in the Philippines. MCI 2000 just had a top 3 that year though... my guess, she finished fourth... she looked fantastic throughout the show.

[> Subject: there wasn't a top 5 finish for that yr....the only thing i remember is that sonija looked the best in teh official pic. i think the top 3 were deserved, and it was obvious that they were going to place sonija somwhere on teh top3 n e waz, since it was in hk...(i think? haha)
