Hi, Chantel,

Kris is a good person. She gives excellent advice, and she is very helpful.

I'll tell you of another resource. You can go here: www.pregnancycenters.org

They offer online counseling, and they have an extensive list of help centers.

Neither your boyfriend nor your mother has a right to pressure you. It is abusive. Your boyfriend will be reassured if you get some help, and he needs time to think about it. Most guys don't fully connect with a pregnancy until the second trimester anyway, and actually observe something, such as hearing the baby's heartbeat, or seeing movement, and so forth.

If you don't want an abortion, don't have one! Just tell your boyfriend and your mother that you have made your decision, and you aren't going to have an abortion. If they start jumping on you, just leave the room (or go outside if necessary). Tell them it's not open to discussion. They may harass you at first, but eventually, they will accept it. The more firm you can be, the better, and if you have gone to a crisis pregnancy agency, and have some plans on how you are going to handle it, it will help.

Hugs,
Pat
