As salaam alaikoem, Can you tell me, how did the Profet (saws) walk with his wife on the streets. Did she walk behind him, hand in hand, or is there nothing special to tell about? Is walking on a street hand in hand with our wife permited?

Praise be to Allah.

There is nothing wrong with walking with your wife on the street side by side and there is nothing wrong with holding her hand. There is no sahih hadith that states the prophet(saw) had his wives walk behind him.
