Asalamulaikum Warahmatullah

A Hindus used to share our flat and stayed in one bed room. In his room he used to have idols now Alhamdulillah he left from here. So, we want to use that room what should we do? How can we clear the Shirk air he used to have in that room? Is there anything we recite etc? Jazakumallah Khair

As Saalaamu Alaikoum,

praise be to Allah.

Just make sure that all idols are thrown away from the room and the room is cleaned of all filth and debris. If you want to recite Allah's name in the room feel free to do so. You can also play Quran as an act of remembrance of Allah which will also draw the angels in to your home.
