As-salamu alaykum. Islam recommends that children should be weaned within 2 years and we are encouraged to have children. Professionals often recommend waiting at least a year before having more children but is there an Islamic recommended time-gap between having children? Jazakallah khayr.

As Salaamu Alaikoum,

Islam teaches us to belive in Al-Qadr which means that nothing will happen unless Allah has decreed it and there is nothing no one can do to alter or stop Allahs decree.

There is no such time span in Islam in regards to making babies.
