Allah says in the Quran, the interpretation of the meaning: "Made lawful to you this day are At­Tayyibât [all kinds of Halâl (lawful) foods, which Allâh has made lawful (meat of slaughtered eatable animals, etc., milk products, fats, vegetables and fruits, etc.). The food (slaughtered cattle, eatable animals, etc.) of the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) is lawful to you and yours is lawful to them..." CONCLUSION: Allah has not prohibited us from eating vegetables and fruits, nor has he prohibited us from eating the food of the Christains and Jews so then yes you can go to a vegetarian restaurant that is owned by people who profess to be Christains or jews...
