Asalaam Alikum

I had makes an tatoo on my had its onl a intial not picture its intial Eglish letter M... 3 years back.....
latter i come to know that its haram...... now im regrating when i come to know that its harm and my wadu and namaz is not valid if the tatoo is made on any part of the body ,,,,,,,, please explain me in light of quran and hadeesi is it haram or not and what will be the solution for that now

As Salaamu Alaikoum,

If you got the tatoo not knowing it is haraam you should first try to have it removed. If you can not have it removed then repent to Allah. Allah says he forgives all sins no matter how big or small including those committed out of ignorance.
