As he grabbed his jaw and yelled back at her Shania thought it might have been a better idea to sock him again. Before she could indulge in the impulse his expression shifted and the anger evaporated from his still handsome features. In fact he was even better looking than before, the boyish features had matured and hardened some. The reddening mark on his chin even added extra character. ”You thought wrong, you all thought wrong. You didn’t save us trouble you only added more!” Her hands were clenching into fists as she yelled at him. Her voice sure to carry over the nearly vacant lot, but she didn’t care. ”I actually looked for you. You’d think with a name like Freb, it’d have been easy…” And it was then she realized how bad she’d gotten. She’d chased after a man, when she’d never done so before. She had them chase her, not the other way around, and the thought made her angry. ”You know what screw this. Tell Angelina I’m sorry, and thanks but I can’t do this. Not now. It was a mistake.” With that she headed back towards the road, flipping her phone open as she went, seeing the text message from Angelina as she did so. It read: The boys are back in town. Call me as soon as you get this message – Angelina. Harsh laughter formed as she read it. ”A little late Angelina.” The phone was flipped shut as she turned back around standing near the edge of the parking lot and looking at the figure of her once lover. She should call the cab company, it’d cost an arm and leg, but she couldn’t stay or she could…get her truck then roll out? The idea was tempting but that meant she’d have to go into the club with the man she’d just punched and she wasn’t sure she could keep herself from doing it again.
