Okay...is anybody not getting the message?

...I hope that the reason the board is so quiet is because you have all FINALLY, FINALLY come to your senses and stopped living through a silly TV show! I know that CC has hammered this lesson home in the at least 4 of the last 5 episodes(I missed William so I can't say it happened there)and I would hate to think that the last vestiage of his loyal fan base wasn't LISTENING to him. So, I do hope that Mayor Kenamom is this very minute divesting her home of any green blow-up aliens and is embracing "real life" for a change. (Rabid speaking soft and slow so as not to startle) "KM, Shipperville is an illusion...you aren't REALLY a mayor. Surely, you have some medical professional you can latch onto as a substitute for your XF obsession." and DET...for heaven sake, you don't devote any REAL TIME to this board do you?

I mean, Jeepers...do they HAVE to talk down to their fan base in such a degrading manner. IN EVERY EPISODE! And the TRUTH...oh, well, Scully has something even more important...good thing too cause there is no TRUTH forthcoming...so what does Scully have..."REAL LIFE?"..."THE LOVE OF HER GOOD but ABSENTEE MAN?"..."THE ABILITY TO WALK AWAY from the deluded people who obsess about a silly TV show WITH A BIG BANK ROLL and NO REGRETS?" Oh, Sorry that last one was CC.

Still, on to the good points. And mostly that is JD...out there swinging...even when there really is no reason to keep up the pretense. I loved the JD look toward Monica when she spouted off about the Brady Bunch House. Priceless and Mulderesque. And I liked Scully invoking the Mulder. And most of all, I liked JD's ridiculous theory A to B to C...and Monica's shock and JD's elated "I think I am finally getting the hang of this job." OKAY, again they are rubbing our noses in THAT too...but this time I really did have a pang. I mean, for once JD came off as a man trying to balance on a ball(rather like Mulder used to come off)...and it was heartwarming...and cute.

Also liked the floating Skinner...and his joy that there was finally proof too. And the glow on Scully's face as she watched Skinner float. And Vince writes clever stuff...there were funny moments in the way the house was laid out and in the Reyes/Doggett interaction. And you know they made me think that maybe, maybe...this one time there would be solid proof of something extraordinary. But of course, in the end...love conquered all.
