I agree why were Jimmy and Yves spared and the Gunmen killed? It makes no sense other than to make us all cry. It's not like Jimmy and Yves will be used in the future. Where would they fit in?

Does anybody else suspect that CC was just being spiteful because not enough X-Philes watched the Gunmen series? If I really thought 100 per cent that they felt this was the best move it wouldn't seem so bad but I wonder about their motives.

I did get the impression that the events of 9/11 affected the story. I heard there was an interview where CC explained about Improbable and that his story for that changed because of that day. And in this we have the terrorist story. But do they have to kill off three beloved characters to prove a point that terrorism hurts people? Can't we have something to make us smile in these times?

The 'one of them wil die' promo certainly was a scam. What was that? Why didn't one of the Gunmen stay behind and let the other two run to safety at least? I would pick Langly as the sarifice because of the whole Joey Ramone thing and the way Morris was belittlng him and treating him like a loser.

Anyone else hoping that there could be an alien cure to resurrect the Gunmen? Only that would save CC from the hole he's dug himself into with this one. Did he think this would get MORE people interested in the last few episodes?
