Hi, the cruise that started with a flight from Gatwick to Venice,was Nov 1968. I went om this with Pupils from Ellowes Hall School Lower Gornal. Had gales on way home round Bay of Biscay. Someone in our shore group got their pocket picked in Istanbul. Was all over Express and Star newspaper, who did a daily report on what was happening to the kids on board. Was mainly schools from the Midlands.
