Dan Ostleton was a good backup for Caves, but I guess he got fed up with being on the bench. Must be considering options now Bees are down. Jones & Vasey were OK at fly half but nothing special at this level. Arnie was a good guy and ball carrier, maybe with Mark Evan's retirement we need more cover in the 2nd row next season. Ollie Winter has never found a regular place at Mose, Bees or Cov. Bit of a utility player but not strong enough in any one position. I think we have the strongest backrow for a number of seasons and Bignell would not be an improvement on Pennycook & Pons, two of the best players this season. All of them good players in their own right but i think we have the nucleus of a good squad this season which I hope will be carried on to next with a few tweeks. As for Arnie I think his best days might be behind him, but saying that I do keep an eye on his performances in the rugby paper and I think he is having to much fun in the lower leaugues he was top try scorer in the division last year with something silly like 30 trys and has a hat full this season & I think Fylde got promoted at the weekend.
