Can't possibly imagine why Dragons wanted him on board; he should definitely be no higher than, what, national 2 north? I don't think we saw anything like the best of Matt Jones in his time with us, and regardless of how many of his 23 appearances were starts or off the bench that's 23 appearances at a higher level than eny of our other recent flyhalves have managed. I'm not advocating him coming back to the club; just think he's got a bit of a bad name with some at Mose which is maybe undeserved. I was among many people who felt quite aggrieved at the timing and manner of Matt Jones' departure but I also know someone who used to live just round the corner from him and hearing his side of the story lends a somewhat different colour to the situtaion.
