The articles are written using my own book/programme collection and pieces written/collected by the late Peter Woodroofe. There was a tempory stand behind the posts on the reddings road end. Shilly definately scored the try - don't think it was a pushover because if my memory serves me well Shilly picked the ball up from the back of a scrum, sprinted 2 yards and drove over the line taking two or three defenders with him to give us the lead. The conversion - Mike Perry? - was missed. Afterwards Bath camped on the Moseley line but we kept them out. I think Richard Hill ( coach Worcester ) was scrum half for Bath at the time. I also recall Bath spurning penalty after penalty in the final minutes of the game as they tried to score the winning try - but they didn't. [ Post a Reply to This Message ]
