Old mate flyer drops in for a chat at the South Pole and finds that he's short of fuel. OK! Buy a few drops and then off again, hoping to make Argentina before night fall.

Typical saga of adventurer on way to achievement? Nuh! Not this time. Seems the chat turned into a spat and old mate had to sit it out in his cockpit while Kiwis and Yanks deny him an ounce of fuel.

What happens? Old Pommie lady gallops to the rescue ala John Wayne and provides the fuel necessary for old mate to continue his journey of achievement.

My query is this: What the fuck happened to the Kiwis and the Yanks? It's the fucking South Pole, for Christ's sake, and matters of fuel and head office memos are just a bit too surreal for my liking. The bloke fucked up. He didn't blow up the WTC bldg and he didn't ignite the fucking world. He simply made a mistake and thought he could do something which he couldn't.

Look out for stranded Yanks and Kiwis next time and mind you don't step on them as you pass them by.
