Thanks, ladies. You have made me regret daring to voice a reasoned, rational concern because you took what I said and perverted it into things I did not say. Honey and Deb did it publicly, but even my own cousin managed to hoodwink herself into believing that I actually said "because I know our government lies in some things, I therefore believe it lies in ALL things... especially those rotten, lying, hateful conservatives and Republicans who want to give tax money to the rich after taking it away from the poor, rob the Social Security Trust Fund blind and throw little old men and women out on the street."

At the same time, I feel certain almost certain that I have managed to alienate at least one or two people who support President Bush and considers anyone who dares question anything done by the Republicans to be only step removed from direct descent from Benedict Arnold.

I didn't say any of those things and I don't like anyone intimating I would say anything so senseless. I DID question why the "politically correct chowderheads in control of our military (thanks to eight years of promotions lists controlled by a man and his fellow travellers who loathed the military and used it as a social engineering experimental laboratory instead of its Constitutional purpose) feel it necessary to lie about what happened to Jessica Lynch. I asked why they have to wrongfully demonize some very good, caring and humanitarian people who not only did no wrong, they did a lot right when our own people screwed up! They were Iraqi citizens who helped a wounded U. S. soldier. When you discover what they did for Jessica Lynch and watch the politically-correct-agenda-vultures from our country hovering over that simple 19-year old girl from West-by-gawd-Virginia, you can't help but be sickened and ANGRY!

Let's get it straight about with whom one should be angry, however! While the vast majority of Washington politicians haven't been able to scrape up a single, worthwhile "scruple" among themselves in the past 50-60 years, we need to stop blaming "them." BLAME YOURSELVES! Blame US! Local people keep electing the idiots... over and over and over. If "they" lie to us, it's because "we" let them get away with it... normally for the most base and venal of all reasons... they're telling us the lies we want to hear!

The Jessica Lynch charade is a case in point. All of those who want to perpetuate the biological barnyard droppings belief that there are no meaningful differences between male and female soldiers WANT her to be the little G. I. Jane the DoD beauracracy is trying to make her into. They WANT to hear that lie because it upholds their bias, bigotry and built-in ignorance. Then, there are those who wish to hear how "a good, Christian, God-fearin', brave, totally motivated, properly trained, young girl from smalltown USA was subjected to the heathen, Christian-hating, virgin-despoiling, atheistic terrors of them there Muslem folks over there who eat their own young and kill young Christian boys and girls because that's what their religion teaches 'em."

Sounds stupid, doesn't it? I find it too sad that so many are willing to believe either one of the lies. What is truly sad is when those same people who are quick to blame us for the problems in that corner of the world, cannot understand the realities of generational hatreds based on RELIGIOUS FERVOR and nothing else. They cannot conceptualize the racial and religious hatred that is pervasive and spoon fed from birth to death in the mid-east... by Jew and Arab alike! There's plenty of blame to go around.

I must admit that I am DEEPLY disappointed by what Honey and Deb wrote here. Ladies, here's how your logic plays out... Laf has terminal lung cancer. We do some medical tests and discover that he has a swollen gland in his side causing him a great deal of discomfort. Using the logic you ladies used, all we have to do is take the swollen gland out of my side and VOILA, I'm cancer free! YOu have no idea how sad I was when I read what you ladies wrote, then had to struggle through Internet dropouts and standard issue modern day incompetency by workers in so-called "service" firms to explain what I say here to my cousin.

That is a mindless argument that was PROVED to be a lie over 12 years ago. Why would you repeat such a demonstrably wrong statement again? Pay attention, please. In 1990. the SAME PEOPLE who claim now that the action against SADDAM HUSSEIN's REGIME last month was only to obtain control of Iraqi oil SCREAMED and spewed spit at tv screens everywhere that the REAL reason we were considering going into Kuwait was to "GAIN CONTROL OF IRAQI OIL." When that line didn't work out as they wanted, they had a back up position. We were only going into Kuwait to "gain conttol of KUWAIT's OIL."

They were not only proved wrong on both counts 12 years ago, they were later discovered to be willful liars in the matter... usually the useful idiots of world socialism's "master race" who spew mindless drivel on cue like the good little hand puppets they were and still are. We sent Saddam packing. We helped Kuawit get the fires out that SADDAM'S PEOPLE set and WE LEFT THEM WITH THEIR OIL UNDER THEIR CONTROL!

Honey... and Deb, here are some basic International Rules of War 101 for you to consider and apply to your misstatements of realities.

Under the "Geneva Conventions" regulating the conduct of war and conflict between civilized nations, the first of which dates back to 1845, certain legal definitions had to be established so that we would be able to discuss the same subjects using commonly acceptable definitions. What liberals count on is the use of the emotionally charged misuse of those terms to paint pictures that don't exist at all.

Under the Geneva Conventions, the COALITION FORCES - ALL 50 NATIONS INVOLVED (you keep overlooking that fact ladies) - NOT just the US and UK - are the "OCCUPYING POWER." That is diplomatic BS that says nothing more than - THE GUYS WHO WON. Under those Geneva Conventions, that imposes specific RESPONSIBILITIES on the coalition forces. We become TOTALLY responsible for the day-to-day existence of the Iraqi people the day the coalition forces declare that the war is over.

Guess what, Honey. THAT INCLUDES RESPONSIBILITY FOR OPERATION OF THEIR OIL FIELDS!!! It's the law and George W. Bush, Tony Blair, John Howard and all of the other members of the coalition that went into Iraq to remove Saddam Hussein and his cutthroats from power have acted honorably and with dignity in following the very rules of law that you try to make into something it is not and was never intended to be. SHAME OF BOTH OF YOU!

Under International Law, coalition forces are REQUIRED to take control of the social infrastructures of a defeated nation, operate the resources of that nation TO THE BENEFIT OF ITS PEOPLE and USE THE FUNDS GENERATED BY THOSE RESOURCES TO PAY FOR THE REBUILDING AND RESTRUCTURING OF THE SOCIAL INFRASTRUCTURE OF THE "OCCUPIED NATION." Remember, ladies, "occupied" is a INTERNATIONALLY USED LEGAL term meaning "the guys who lost!" In short, Honey, you are having a stroke because our government is following the law. As for discovery of WMD.. I will do an enitre other post on that subject. It, too, is a specious, simple-minded argument designed to replace rational thought with knee-jerk emotionalism.

Those who know me well and know even a limited bit of my biography, know that I am well aware that my government lies to, and about, us all the time. I have been victimized repeatedly by the lies of several branches and agencies of our government. Thanks to those lies, I won't receive the honors due a simple soldier when I die. They will have stolen that from me and I hate them for it, but I don't hate my country or the Constitutional government that makes these wrongs possible. What I cannot fathom at all is how such otherwise intelligent folks who visit here cannot - or WILL NOT - see what is plainly visible for everyone and READILY REPARABLE!

Those who tell the worst lies are not George Bush or even Bill Clinton, even as much of a liar as that sleazy scumbag is. Dear sore losers. Florida did an actual TOTAL RECOUNT of ALL VOTES cast in that damned election. Five members of the Supreme Court of the United States did not "crown George Bush." What those five members did do was to tell nine BLATANTLY PARTISAN members of the Florida Suprmeme Court that "Calvin Ball" Rules don't apply in federal elections.

It turns out that reality is that 2,671 FLORIDA VOTERS (in mostly Democrat voting areas, no less) gave the candidate George W. Bush the electoral votes of the State of Florida, as set forth by Constitutional law in the United States and IN THE FLORIDA CONSTITUTION. Bush won two years ago! Move on and SHUT THE HELL UP!

That instructin includes every partisan ass INCLUDING Tom Daschle and Tom Delay. Someone needs to arrest Robert Byrd and run a search warrant on his home state. He's been stealing our tax dollars for years and that's where he's been stashing our government. His sanctimonious mealy-mouthing in anger because George W. landed on a n aircraft carrier in an airplane instead of a helicopter like the 290 DEMOCRATS from his state who got a free ride to that carrier for the same ceremonies. Byrd wants Bush to repay the "additional costs" to taxpayers for him doing what he did, including the cost of a flight suit Bush wore. I'm with Byrd. Please, Mr. Bush, submit your personal check for $1.09 to to the national treasury so that ass will finally shut up! That's the ACTUAL ADDITIONAL COST to the taxpayers, but - once again - truth is going to get in the way of Bush hating.

Now come some problems. The flight suit is standard issue and was returned, so there was no additional cost there... HOWEVER....You see, as Commander in Chief, George Bush is legally entitled to qualify in military aircraft because he held a military pilot's certificate. They have to pay him while he is learning and qualifying... including supply his flight suits, clean them, feed him, provide the fuel and aircraft for his training flights, etc. etc.... so, where does Mr. BYRD and the rest of thee whining idiots send THEIR SHARES of the $1,371.18 the Marine Corp and/or the Navy owes Mr. Bush for his pre-check flights, class time and fitting time plus actual flight time? I want any of you Bush haters to respond to that one! I damned well dare you speak up and prove to everyone that your mindless hatred is simply hatred for the sake of hatred.

I will use a new post to respond to the BS about WMD, our reasons for going into IRAQ and other matters. That post may tell you people some truths you don't want to hear. It WILL make you damned uncomfortable. I HOPE IT DOES. I will say some things you won't like me saying about things you have said here. TOUGH. Only when you folks start paying attention and then eduating others will any of us have a chance. It won't do me any good whatsoever. I won't be here to see what's coming, but I do hope to have a son grow up to live a long and prosperous life and even to have grandchildren follow in my stead.
