Tufted auds caught the melody of the youth. Slender limbs carried his lithe mahogany frame towards that had been dubbed Dance. Crimson fluid rained down his flank as he stood at easy attention before the royal trainee, the hardness in his chocolate orbs gentled by the genuine happiness to see that the filla was unharmed. Using his bulk to shield Dance from the carnage of war, he gazed upon the youngster, curiosity piqued. It was obvious that she had something of importance to impart to him and for the moment, since Adrian had answered Firelight's call, he had nothing but time.
