| Criminal Illusions ...the radiant sun's emission poured from the giant globe and bathed the beach with a warm glow. white, puffy clouds floated gently across the peaceful sky like majestic iceburgs in a perriwinkle ocean. the cerulean waves lapped gently at the shore and drew random sediments into its grasp. the turbulence of the sea had subsided and it now appeared that the salty water was more tranquil than before. it was in this serene environment that the buckskin stood, gazing contentedly at all the sun-kissed beach had to offer. as far as the eye could see there was an expanse of sand. his intelligent eyes spoke of many days gone by, as did his coat with his poud "love-wounds". his thick, ebony tail hung limply, as the heat from the sun had driven the pesky flies into the shade for respite. it was too gorgeous a day to battle, however it was impossible to escape the blood-curdling war cries. it grieved the stallion to see the lands in such a state. at first he had seemed war-hungry, but now the fighting had taken a toll on his gung ho attitude. he had yet to battle, but already his mind was cleared. if he was to fight, so be it. it was about time that an evil had the nerve to face him. clearly donning a defiant look, the light steed drew up to his full height and stared off into the distance. blood and gore abound in the pleasant paradise left him a diamond in the rough... ![]() |
