Dark, limpid pools of intensity and the spirit of the dramatic are still concealed by lids fringed with long, sooty lashes. The sun's golden rays touch her hide, creating a bright ruby from the burnished scarlet satin, and shining onyx from the sooty coal of her limbs and delicate muzzle. Her breathing was regular and even, she had defeated the malignant enemy, but would she ever wake? Would she ever truly live again? Only Time...and the decision of the masculine would tell.
