A low growl was issued forth. She would not allow this feline to get in her head; instead she had a better idea. A silver paw lifted from the ground and took one mere step toward the `kitten`. Eyes turned to ice as she survived the one who dared insult her so. Her fight was no longer with this horse, not even the mare�s foal.

Her fight was with the one who dared call herself a panther. For Panthers are cunning and smart enough to stay well away from the jaws of a full-grown dark wolfess such as she. No, this wasn't a panther, more a kitten, for a kitten is stupid and knows not when to stay out of others business. A smile crossed her a maw as the wolfess stood their laughing at the `kitten's` remarks. Once she had finally finished she stood there looking at the panther with mild distaste.

�You need to learn your place little one. It�s not wise to go mouthing off like that, especially to a dark wolf. As for fun and pleasure, well, that�s where killing helpless defenseless mares comes in. But now that I have answered your question how about you answer one of my own. What has brought you to these lights aid? It couldn�t be that you actually live here�although I wouldn�t put it past you.�
