Grasping the thin nerve of sanity, the mare struggles a reply. Pictures play like a silent movie...stuck in an endless loop that haunts her thoughts. Bloodshed...death, friend and foe. Misery and depression. Laughter...gone.

"When it is kill or be killed, you learn quite well."

Eyes divert from his view, as the mare contemplates the question. How could one justify her position here? It was war. Racisms exposed. I fight to win the war in my heart. The war against what I do not want to be. "We shall see."

She whips her golden form; the full weight of her body behind her motion. Legs kick out, remarkably sharp and obediant to her seemingly rash decision.
