The gleam of victory passed through her amber pools, yet the evasion given by the equine proved enough to stop her from landing and latching on. Hitting the sand with a low 'thud' her limbs sunk in a bit, but as she turned around to create another attack a low yowl of surprise escaped her. Tucking her haunches into herself she galloped away, but not with out her right flank getting torn into by the ivories of the mare's gnashers. Because the teeth were so blunt as most plant eaters are, it was not as deep or as devistating as her own might have been. But then again getting cut by a butter knife hurts more than a steak knife. And indeed it did hurt, the top layer of skin scraped off causing her blood to well up and eventually dribble over in a nice thick flow. Her spheres flashed in anger as a hiss passed her vocals, spin taken to face the mare. Right fore paw lashed forward, claws gleaming as she attempted to scrape the equine's left fore limb.
