Cooing in delight, the mare extended her own muzzle to affectionately nuzzle the adorable colt. ~*What a charmer!*~ she breathed, her eyes glowing with adoration.

Ignoring her enraptured mother for the moment, Takara stifled her sobs and punctuated her fit with a few well-placed sniffles. Calculating eyes shifted in Hex's direction as her lips adopted a triumphant smirk. Her look of pride was quickly replaced by shock as she saw that the colt was now moving in on her mother. Snorting indignantly, she pressed against Castaway for comfort--at least he wasn't a traitor.
