...it is quite impossible to imagine a land without war or peace. the relationship was one of those that could not exist without the other. for example, war is similar to a forest fire--though it may wipe out and destroy many things, it renews and gives incentive to learn from your mistakes. in this respect, there is little difference between lights and darks. the difference? lights can control their dark urges, yet evils cannot master their light urges (loving one's kin and fighting for beliefs).

the buckskin, having sprinted through the borders of this gorgeous landscape, slowed to an leisurely amble as he headed for the herds of horses he'd presumed to be massing here. while he meandered toward a distinguishable figure in the distance, the stallion glanced tranquilly at the lovely foliage and picturesque sea. the water pulled him towards it like lead filings to a magnet. so powerful, yet so quiet. one moment it could appear to be your best friend, allowing you to bathe in its glorious wetness, then turn on you the next and smother the air from your lungs, drowning you in the process.

as he neared the creature, likely a mare, she looked vaguely familiar, as an acquaintance who you recognized the name, but had not ever had a relationship with them. well, one could never have enough friends, especially in war, so he approached in a cool, collected manner and halted before her. the mustang parted his maw and whickered a friendly greeting, eyes gazing at her inquisitively...

Hello there, comrade. I'm Criminal Illusions, preferrably C. Pleased to meet you, uh...?

...whoops, he had forgotten that he hadn't quite met her just yet and was stumbling in his effort to produce a name. sheepishly he glanced into her eye with a look that clearly said, "What's your name?" and awaited a reply...
