~emitting a long, heavy sigh in his time of distress, the stallion assumes that all the others that had formerly resided in the Glen must feel the same way. but then again, he'd lasted there almost since it was started. 10 years is a long time to live in one place. gradually becoming the Back-Up Lead was a great honour, but all good things come to an end some time or another. oh, if only jokes could cheer him up. losing two mates should have left a lasting mark on his character, but no...only on occasion did he even think about them, mainly Odessa, his second and more beloved mate. but losing a home...that was drastic!

listless orbs caress the everlasting sea as it ebbs and flows along the shore. life was like the ocean. tides changed, just like one day you're on top of the world, then the tide goes out and leaves you high and dry. a movement in the corner of the mustang's eye gives him the notion that somebody was watching. the horse looked somewhat familiar in that "I met you once, but Don't Really Know You" manner. ah, well, there would be time to mingle with the natives later...once he'd warmed up to the new atmosphere and his emotions chilled a tad more~
