~uncertainty marked the steed's features as he chanced a glance towards the stranger. by the way the other stallion stood it was made entirely evident that he was of importance in a, well, friendly way. the calm, peaceful atmosphere had lulled the inhabitant into an amicable attitude, though it had yet to take a toll on the weary foreigner, cameran. perhaps it would all change, perhaps not. he was just about over-the-hill, getting on in years. in less than 10, 'haps 15, years he would be deceased, gone, kapoot. wonderful, just wonderful he thought, his dreadful thoughts torturing the tangled mind. like a forest of roots and bushes and vines and trees, nothing could be filtered out, sifted through, in his head any longer. ah well, the senility would strike him down one day, and he should get used to it. breaking into a creaky trot, the chestnut "old geezer" started towards the other, to make another acquaintance~
