In reply to: rt 's message, "help! i put painted appliques in the dryer to heat set, and now the inside is tinted turquoise! what is the easiest way to get it cleaned off?" on 17:19:00 10/21/09 Wed

Was it acrylic paint? I have been there. When I first started doing these dresses and reading the forums the same thing happened to me, except mine was hot pink. I took a scrubby sponge and wiped it all down inside with warm soapy water. It took about 15-20 minutes. Not too bad but after that I now lay my dyed pieces on towels to air dry for a little bit and they are not as wet when I put them in the dryer. Some people iron them dry between towels.

Oh Yeah. I forgot about Germ-x wipes. They work well too.
