I don't have any experience with Husquvarnas, but I would suggest if you're happy with their serger, getting a sewing machine from them, unless you're looking for something industrial. I've heard good things about the brand, and you would have the added advantage of being able to have them serviced at the same place.

Hi!

I have used singer and brother machines and sergers and love them both.
I would, however, suggest the singer machines because you can find more service providers for that brand. They will usually not work on the Brother brand.

With any machine, if you can learn to service it yourself regularly, it will last many years and save a ton of money on repairs.

Good Luck!

I have both a Husq. and a Janome. I feel the Janome has the superior stitch. JMHO and good luck finding your machine, I know most of it is just a matter of getting a good fit between the seamstress and the machine. :)
