After dipping in the paint, I squeezed it out and laid on layers of paper towel on a rack that fits into my dryer. It lets the drum tumble around the rack. Dry on hot for however long it takes to dry. I did turn the lace over once so both sides would dry. Hope this helps you
If you don't have a rack for your dryer, just use lots of paper towel to soak up the residue and dry lace and towels together. Be sure to clean your dryer afterward. I have learned to put in a few wet paper towel after I dry something and that will help clean any excess dye from the drum
