APPALACHIAN FESTIVAL Teen , Miss , Ms & Mrs Pageant
June 15, 2014 ~ John Eye Conference Center ~ Beckley, WV
This pageant is open state wide to all residents of WV and those who attend school in WV.
AGE REQUIREMENTS:
TEEN ~ 13 - 16 YRS (If you are 16, you have choice of Teen or Miss division)
MISS ~ 16 - 21 YRS (Contestant may NOT turn 22 before Jan. 1, 2015)
MS ~ 22 & Up (Not married ; with or without children)
MRS ~ 22 & Up (Married ; with or without children)
COMPETITION EVENT DETAILS:
Photogenic ~ Please bring a 5x7 or 8x10 photo to Registration on pageant day. May be color or black/white. There will be a winner in each age division.
Personal Interview ~ This will be a 3 minute interview with a panel of experienced judges. Questions for interview will range from what is on your official entry form to what you know about Beckley and our festival. Attire needed is a nice 2-piece Interview suit OR professional-style dress with taupe shoes.
Evening Gown ~ Evening gown is your own personal choice. Choose a gown that is flattering to you in fit, color and style. Slits in dresses should be no higher than mid-thigh. No visible tattoos or piercings. NO solid black gowns if competing in Teen division.
On-Stage Question ~ Each contestant will be asked 2 questions center stage. One from your official entry form and one you will pull from the "? Crown Bag". You will receive the 7 bag questions with your email Welcome Package. You will not know which one you may pull the night of the pageant so be prepared for all.

Teen Appalachian Festival Queen: Winner will be awarded their official crown and scepter, custom festival sash, crown sash pin, Teen Queen plaque, $150 cash scholarship, Teen's Gift Bag, Official festival title satin jacket, flowers AND 2 nights paid hotel room with convention ticket to the 2015 WVAFF Convention/State pageant to cheer on your Miss Queen!
Miss Appalachian Festival Queen: Winner will be awarded their official crown and scepter, custom festival sash, crown sash pin, Queen plaque, $500 cash scholarship, Queen's Gift Bag, Official festival title satin jacket, flowers AND an expense paid trip (3 nights hotel stay and State pageant entry fee) with 2 convention tickets to represent your festival in the 2015 WVAFF STATE PAGEANT!
Ms Appalachian Festival Queen: Winner will be awarded their official crown and scepter, custom festival sash, crown sash pin, Ms Queen plaque, $150 cash prize, Ms' Gift Bag, Official festival title satin jacket, flowers AND 2 nights paid hotel room with convention ticket to the 2015 WVAFF Convention/State pageant to cheer on your Miss Queen!
Mrs Appalachian Festival Queen: Winner will be awarded their official crown and scepter, custom festival sash, crown sash pin, Mrs Queen plaque, $150 cash prize, Mrs' Gift Bag, Official festival title satin jacket, flowers, 2 nights paid hotel room with convention ticket to the 2015 WVAFF Convention/State pageant to cheer on your Miss Queen AND QUALIFY TO GO ON TO COMPETE AT THE 2015 MRS WV AMERICA PAGEANT!
We will be awarding a 1st , 2nd and 3rd Runner-up in every age division!
All Contestants: PAGEANT JEWELRY GIFT, BEAUTIFUL PLAQUE AWARD, GIFT BAG & MORE!
Entry Fee: $125
Entry Deadline: June 4th
EARLY BIRD: Postmark your entry by May 15th and enter for only $100
A $50 DEPOSIT MAY BE SENT TO HOLD YOUR SPOT. ALL BALANCES MUST BE PAID IN FULL BY THE FINAL DEADLINE OF JUNE 4TH.

**Registration is at 3pm. Interview at 4pm. Stage portion (open to public) is at 7pm.
**Prize packages will continue to grow until the day of the pageant! The awards listed above just gets you started! Our Royalty receive gifts, perks, modeling opportunities, TV appearances and so much more through out their year long reign!
**Cash scholarships for all Queens may increase depending on entries received.
**Appalachian Festival dates for 2014 is August 22nd-24th, Beckley, WV
**All Queens will be required to attend on Saturday - August 23rd, Sunday - August 24th and THE ANNUAL GRAND PARADE ON SEPTEMBER 6th.
