Noon to 6 p.m.

Junior Miss River Fest 2013

Guidelines and Application

1. Open to young ladies ages 10 to 12.

2. Must be citizens of the United States and legal residents of the State of West Virginia

3. Cannot be the current title holder of Junior Miss RIver Fest.

4. Cannot seek another title of any other fair or festival during her reign as Junior Miss River Fest.

5.She may attend fairs, festivals and opening ceremonies of her choice, but she must wear the crown and sash awarded to her.

6. Application fee: $50.00

7. Areas of Competition:

a. Personal Introduction: 25 points

b. Personal Interview: 50 points 5 questions taken directly from the information

included on your application.

c. Final Question: 25 points �Why I want to be Junior Miss River Fest?�

Attire:

a. Personal Introduction: Pageant T-Shirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes

b. Personal Interview and Final Question: Pageant wear. Floor length and one piece

8. Responsibilities

a: To participate in three local parades: Mannington DIstrict Parade, Fairmont Christmas Parade and the Three Rivers Festival. You must provide the vehicle of your choice.

b. To participate in two fundraising events

c. To attend River Fest 2015

d. To return to the 2015 pageant to crown Junior Miss River Fest 2015.

e. If opportunity presents itself to act as a spokesperson for the LWF River Fest.

Awards:

Junior Miss Photogenic: Embroidered sash and trophy

Junior Miss Court: Rhinestone Crown pin, trophy and gift bag

Junior Miss: Tiara, Embroidered sash, trophy, gift bag

Mail application, essay, 5 x 7 picture and application fee by May 16, 2014. Application fee must be paid by cashier�s check or money order payable to the Lower West Fork Watershed Association. No late applications accepted.
