very passionate about Atkins. I kind of avoided your first question, about can you stay on the W of W and be on Atkins. For fun once, I went on to one of their website, to design a personalized Atkins program and when I got to the part where it went over my food choices, it said that I HAD to choose meat or dairy to be on the program. My personal feeliing is that it would very hard to follow the W of W as it is written and be on Atkins, which just pointed out to me that it likely isn't a program that most people should follow. Many people strongly defend it as much as I strongly encourage people to steer clear. I suppose I could be really synical and encourage people to follow it...when they get all of the negetive effects from it down the road, it will keep my dh in business as an MD!!!!!! I'm glad that you are not on it.
