I may be wrong, but I've never heard the general authorities call abortion 'murder'. Technically, there is no proof that abortion is murder. Perhaps by the spirit of revelation we can come to find out it is, but that is all. That makes this a religious matter in which the government SHOULD NOT interfere. Of course, like I said before, and like Kathy said about marriage ( "So, since government HAS 'legalized' the whole issue... then the reality is that the government IS and WILL continue to do so." ), it has been made into something its not. The church has now come out in favor of bans on abortion. ( btw... can anyone provide me with the message from the first presidency regarding abortion? ) But I have still never heard them refer to it as 'murder', unless of course its in that message that I am requesting. LOL.

Also, murder has a very specific definition from a legal standpoint. It is not murder if you accidently run over someone with your car because there is no malicious intent. I said earlier, there are plenty of people who have abortions because its what they think is right for them. They may be wrong, but that proves that there is no malicious intent to take a life.
