This is bittersweet. It’s really true, John does protect everybody - I start thinking of characters - and he’s helped them all. It’s too bad that Percy is broken. I think he and John cared deeply for each other and definitely had chemistry, but Percy is weak. Wasn’t it a horrible way for John to find out? But also terrifying to watch it all play out.
