The Bulletin Board is a post made in hopes of slowing the scrolling of the Social Board. Today is Mickey Mouse Day. His first cartoon, "Steamboat Willie," opened in New York on November 18, 1928. Two other cartoons, "Plane Crazy" and "Gallopin' Goucho," were completed first but released later. Mickey's voice was Walt Disney, but the character was created by artist Ub Iwerks.

Today is Push-Button Phone Day, marking debut of telephone push buttons on this date in 1963. Touch tone service was available at an extra charge in only two Pennsylvania cities. Rotary phones still operate today, but you don't see many of them.

Today is Total Disregard for Taste Day, marking the debut of "The Howard Stern Show" on WXRK-FM in New York on this date in 1985.

Our DfD had a couple of really bad diapers yesterday and even though we changed her immediately, she has terribly sensitive skin her butt and bump (what my DD calls girly bits) are bright red. - Coffeemaker help needed Mr Coffee is spitting out the water instead of dripping it. When I check the filter afterwards the grounds are all splashed up the sides and every pot has grounds in it. Today was especially bad and I'm picking them out of my teeth it seems like.... I'm making the same amount as always so I'm not overfilling the filter basket. Today is John Peter Zenger Day, marking his arrest on this date in 1734 for libel against the colonial governor. Zenger edited his New York Weekly Journal from jail and was acquitted, an early victory for freedom of the press in America.

Get your cards, stamps, and pens ready Hosers, it�s that time of the year! For those who are new to the boards or have never participated in the Holiday Card exchange, I�ll give you a brief rundown of the details. Each year Hosers from all over the world exchange cards as a way to spread a little joy and celebrate our friendships. In order to participate, all you need to do is send me a little information and I�ll get you on the list. Here�s how it works:

1. Decide how many cards you would like to send. I will do like Michelle did in years past and divide the list up into groups of 10. You can choose to send 10, 20, 30, 40, or you can do the whole list.

2. Send me how many cards you would like to send, your full name, your board nickname, and your complete address (country too!). Ex:
