Today is National Refuse to Capitalize the First Letters in Your Name Day, always on singer k.d. lang's birthday.

Today is National Traffic Directors Day, a day to recognize the folks who schedule all the commercials on radio and television. And the good ones, of course, also schedule a little time for the programs.

Tonight we will see the Beaver Moon, so-called by the New England and Great Lakes Native Americans because it's time for beavers to get serious about preparing for the coming winter.

Just got back from Costco. They had several different regenerist things. I'm looking for something to use as a daytime moisturizer to rehydrate my rapidly hag-like appearing face. Got a good look in a magnifying mirror (a gift from my sister - not funny, Jo!) and just about stopped breathing. So . . . which one is it that I want?

If your skin is normal to oily/combination, you want Olay Regenerist Daily Regenerating Serum. However, that's at night. During the day you want something with an SPF of at least 15. But it's not really ~ we all live within the same great circle of life following the rhythms of our lives and our belief systems. Ultimately, all roads traveled well lead to 'God'.

Get your cards, stamps, and pens ready Hosers, it�s that time of the year! For those who are new to the boards or have never participated in the Holiday Card exchange, I�ll give you a brief rundown of the details. Each year Hosers from all over the world exchange cards as a way to spread a little joy and celebrate our friendships. In order to participate, all you need to do is send me a little information and I�ll get you on the list. Here�s how it works:

1. Decide how many cards you would like to send. I will do like Michelle did in years past and divide the list up into groups of 10. You can choose to send 10, 20, 30, 40, or you can do the whole list.

- Again, my son waits until the last minute to ask me to help him with a Halloween costume to wear to work today. Last year, I made a terradactyl head on a baseball cap and a winged cape, two hours before he had to go to work. He's a cook at a dininghall at UNH. It's the Halloween Beast Feast. today. I googled costume ideas and found something perfect that willl be cool and comfortable for him as he works. I sewed a silk leaf to dangle just over the brim of a baseball cap.
