What do you mean by backlash?

Ya know I look at what is happening with alcohol as somewhat of a backlash...for my family alcohol is the pink elephant sitting in the livingroom...my generation has come to terms...we just don't drink ....however I would never say that the best solution is prohibition...its not! Pot has become incultrated into our society..I can't go to a concert these days without open passing of joints/forget bringing my kids with me/so we choose to go alone. Dh is from a generation that a very real threat of "doing time" for small amounts of cannibis was a real threat and yet his generation *IS* and continues to, recreationally use, more so in my estimation than alcohol in a previous genration. My neices and nephews now it appears experiment with a very different class of drugs...to me however the bottom line is addiction prevention.

As far as hydroponics/export...I think the US holds its own and really has no need for import into the US from elsewhere.
