It's the central purpose asserted by Sean Wilentz in his New Republic piece. The supposed savior is the one playing the most vicious, cynical hand in this whole charade!

And Hitchens is right to air his frustrations over the brazen double-standards Obama receives continuously.

The sad fact is we are crying to a media for fairness that has already made up its mind a long, long time ago. We'll see if the media truly does control the masses this November.
