Exactly where does Hitchens attribute those adjectives to Obama's speech?

Perhaps it was tacitly implied--if you made up your mind that Hitchens was a ruthless hack going after Obama's speech--but the way I read it is it was attributed to the 'phlanx of reporters' and 'men of the cloth' and has nothing to do with Obama's speech which you seem to be suggesting Hitchens is using to trap him by ramming his own words down his throat.

That being the case, I don't see your point.
