 What I meant was that they had a right to fire him. I didn't mean that I approved of what they did. I told you from the start that, although I couldn't defend his comments, I felt that the backlash against them was overblown. Still, there's nothing legally protecting him from getting fired, nor do I believe there should be. It's a matter between him and the network, not a First Amendment issue.
